About Us
For over three decades, Mark’s Pops Inc. has stood as a cornerstone in the heart of the Upper Cumberland.
Our Story
Our journey began with Mark Kriebel, whose formative years were spent amidst the rugged terrain of his father’s rock quarry, as a blaster. Relocating from Florida to Tennessee, Mark, alongside a tight-knit group of friends, founded the Nameless Volunteer Fire Department in the late 1980s. Despite envisioning Fourth of July festivities, Mark found himself grappling with the aftermath of unsafe fireworks, compelled by a mission to safeguard lives and property.
Driven by this conviction, Mark embarked on a mission to redefine pyrotechnics, building professional display shells and crafting his inaugural electric firing system in 1992. Complementing this, he established our fireworks stand, ensuring the community access to legal, appropriate, and budget-friendly consumer products.
Though Mark’s battle with cancer cut short his time with us, his legacy endures through our steadfast dedication to his vision: providing safe, affordable, and legal consumer and display pyrotechnics for all.
Located at the same intersection of HWY 56 and Shepherdsville Rd for over three decades, our fireworks stand remains a beacon of community spirit. Our displays continue to be among the nation’s most accessible, ensuring communities can revel in beautiful celebrations for years to come.
Expanding our reach to Cookeville, Lebanon, Antioch, and beyond, we now cater to new markets, including corporate retreats, grand openings, and employee appreciation events. Upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism, we invite you to join the Mark’s Pops family. When you choose us, you’re not just a client; you’re a cherished part of our legacy. You will always be able to Make Memories with Mark’s Pops!
